I love how Sayers teases us by waiting so long to reveal a dead body. This one didn’t come until the second half of the book, at which point I was so caught up in the characters and their stories that I forgot to detect.
So glad you’ve gotten to this one! It’s one of my favorites, after Gaudy Night and Busman’s Honeymoon. I’m inspired to reread it now.
