Why are you reading this book?
I have no good reason! They’re such light-hearted distractions, these books about murder and lying and British aristocracy.
What is the first line?
“What in the world, Wimsey, are you doing in this Morgue?” demanded Captain Fentiman, flinging aside the “Evening Banner” with the air of a man released from an irksome duty.
Describe the book in haiku form:
I did not expect
PTSD to become
a crucial plot point.

Anything else you’d like to say?
Okay, I don’t remember if PTSD was a CRUCIAL plot point – but you want to know something difficult about mystery novels? The most exciting plot point tends to be when they reveal the murderer, and I’m not about to spoil every book with haiku!
