28 books finished in 2012

Why are you reading this book?
Readers Guild (Though, I didn’t finish it in time for the discussion.)

What is the first line?
George Washington Crosby began to hallucinate eight days before he died.

Describe the book in haiku form:
bounces around in
the heads of two men across
three generations

What will you do with it now?
keep for reference
keep and loan out to friends
keep to read again & again & again x
post to paperbackswap.com
throw it away

Anything else you’d like to say?
I expected this book to be a little bit sad and disorienting, and I wasn’t disappointed. It took some time to gather speed, but all through the second half I was overwhelmed with beauty and heartache. It made me miss my grandfather, and want to spend some quality time with my dad.
