Why are you reading this book?
I needed something to read on my second flight home, and picked this up in the airport. The cover was pretty, the topic seemed interesting, and I remembered the author’s name from RadioLab – I so rarely pick up books on a whim anymore, it was fun to choose!
What is the first line?
Bob Dylan looks bored.
Describe the book in haiku form:
creativity
sometimes needs structure to thrive
(like in a haiku)
What will you do with it now?
keep for reference
x keep and loan out to friends x
keep to read again & again & again
post to paperbackswap.com
throw it away
Anything else you’d like to say?
Apparently, the day after I bought this book, it was recalled by the publisher. The author fabricated some of the Bob Dylan quotes. It was especially interesting that I discovered this before finishing the book, while reading his chapter about Shakespeare, plagiarism, and the ways copyright laws limit creativity.
