getting settled

getting settled
Nothing is on the walls yet, because I was waiting until I figured out exactly where all the furniture went.

And that was wisdom, since I’ve brought in one big metal shelf (aka The Craft Shelf), moved my bed from one corner to another (then back), stacked approximately three thousand different things on top of my desk, either to get them out of my way or because I think they might belong there.

Though it’s incredibly time-consuming, I love the process of finding the proper home for everything. I also love that every house, every room, every corner seems to have a particular purpose, a certain way that it sings, and I love the trial and error that helps me find that one moment when I step back, look at it, and smile.
